Career Path — From America’s Karting Champion to Spain’s F4 Challenger

Vivek Kanthan's career began in New York and rapidly expanded onto the European stage. Born and raised in the United States, Vivek developed an early passion for motorsport that quickly transformed into competitive success.

Since entering karting in 2019, Vivek Kanthan's career has been defined by rapid progression, championship victories, and consistent results against elite international competition.

International Karting Success

Beginning his racing journey in 2019, Vivek established himself as a front-running driver. Within his first two seasons he secured the Rotax National title and finished vice-champion at the SuperNationals, one of the most prestigious karting events in North America.

In 2022, he claimed victory at the ROK World Superfinal, a globally recognised event that attracts top drivers from across continents. That same year, his career gained further momentum with victory in the Italian Trofeo. In 2023, during his rookie season in the highly competitive OK-Junior category, he secured a podium finish in the CIK-FIA European Championship.

Career highlight

Transition to Single-Seaters with Campos Racing

In 2025, Vivek Kanthan made his single-seater debut with Campos Racing, quickly proving that his karting success could translate to racecraft. In the Spanish Winter Series, he won the Best Rookie title, and in the following Spanish Formula 4 Championship he reached the rookie podium multiple times, delivering steady and highly competitive pace. Vivek Kanthan’s career is now entering a pivotal growth phase, and he will continue with Campos Racing for the 2026 season.
