OCT 07, 2026
Van Amersfoort Racing is pleased to confirm that Enzo Deligny will continue with the team for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 Championship. The French-Chinese driver will enter his second season in FIA Formula 3 after making his debut with VAR in 2026.
Enzo began his single-seater career in 2023, securing the Spanish Formula 4 Rookie title in his first season. He continued his development in 2024, stepping up to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), before combining his European campaign with the Formula Regional Middle East Championship in 2025. Across the two series, he took five wins and 12 podiums, finishing third in the European championship. He then added another standout result in Macau, finishing third in the Formula Regional World Cup.
Enzo made his FIA Formula 3 debut with Van Amersfoort Racing in 2026, making an immediate impression in Melbourne. He finished second in the Sprint Race and sixth in the Feature Race on his debut weekend, contributing to a VAR 1-2 in the Sprint. He went on to score points at several other rounds during his rookie season, finishing the year with 40 points and a fastest lap in Monza to his name.
For 2027, Enzo will continue with VAR for his second FIA Formula 3 season. He will take part in the official FIA Formula 3 post-season testing this autumn, continuing his work with the team ahead of the new season. Having now completed his first year in F3 with VAR, he will have the benefit of that experience and the continuity of working with the same team as he targets further progress and stronger results in 2027.
“I'm really happy to be continuing with VAR for 2027. After joining the team late this season, I immediately felt very comfortable and we've built a strong relationship. I'm really looking forward to starting next year together and showing what we can achieve. Having stability by staying with this great team will help me perform next year. I can't wait.”
“We're pleased to continue our collaboration with Enzo for another season. He made a very strong start to his FIA Formula 3 career in Melbourne, finishing second in the Sprint Race on his debut weekend. He has now gained a full year of experience in the championship, and working with him throughout the season has given us the opportunity to see his talent up close. That experience and continuity are important as we look to build on what we started in 2026 and push for stronger results in 2027.”
Van Amersfoort Racing looks forward to another season with Enzo as he continues in the 2027 FIA Formula 3 Championship.
