At the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly secured a double points finish for their respective teams, with Hadjar crossing the line in P6 for Red Bull Racing and Gasly in P7 for Alpine.
For Hadjar, it was a well-earned result built on consistent race pace and smart progression through the field. Starting sixth on the grid, the French rookie held his position through a complicated, high-attrition afternoon and delivered exactly what was needed — clean, composed racing in a weekend where several frontrunners failed to see the chequered flag.
Gasly's P7 was equally solid. Starting from 14th on the grid after a difficult qualifying session, the Alpine driver climbed steadily through the order over the course of the 66 laps. With his teammate handed a post-race penalty, Gasly's result also stood as Alpine's best finish of the day.
Seven DNFs, including race leader Kimi Antonelli, reshaped the final standings — but that should not diminish what both drivers produced.
Barcelona delivered on both counts.
