ISACK HADJAR MARKS HIS COMEBACK WITH A PODIUM IN BAKU

After six weeks on the sidelines, Isack Hadjar made his comeback at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a third-place finish, behind George Russell and his teammate Max Verstappen. Within a matter of days, the French driver confirmed his return, secured his future with Oracle Red Bull Racing for 2027, and delivered a performance widely praised across the paddock.
Having injured his wrist while training during the summer break, Isack Hadjar was forced to miss the Dutch, Italian and Spanish Grands Prix. At the start of the week, his participation in Baku remained uncertain. His return was confirmed later on Monday.
On Wednesday, Oracle Red Bull Racing announced the extension of his contract for the 2027 season, alongside Max Verstappen. The decision reflects an impressive rookie campaign with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls in 2025, followed by a strong first season so far with the senior team, in what is only his second year in Formula 1.
On Friday, having rebuilt his rhythm session after session, he qualified fourth, ahead of his teammate. On Saturday, he converted that performance into a podium, moving up to third in the closing laps. The result gave the team its first double podium since April 2024, and marked the third podium of Isack Hadjar's Formula 1 career.
