Isack Hadjar has closed out the Belgian Grand Prix weekend by matching a record that has stood since 1993, for the most consecutive Top 6 finishes by a French driver in Formula 1. With his result in Spa, the Red Bull driver reached six straight Top 6 finishes, a mark last set by four-time World Champion Alain Prost 33 years ago.

The achievement caps a strong stretch of form for the 21-year-old. Hadjar finished P6 in Barcelona and followed it with P5 at Silverstone, before delivering a standout drive in Belgium. Starting from P21, he fought his way to P6, gaining fifteen positions over the course of a single race — one of the most complete performances of his season so far.

Consistency has been the defining feature of this run. Rather than a single isolated result, Hadjar has strung together six straight races inside the top six, a mark of reliability and racecraft that places him alongside one of the most respected names in French motorsport history. Prost, the only French World Champion in Formula 1, set the previous benchmark in 1993, the final year of his driving career.
