Gasly fought his way from ninth on the grid to third on the road, a drive built on consistency and sharp racecraft through one of the most demanding circuits in motorsport. Two pit lane speeding penalties initially dropped him to seventh, but the result did not reflect the level of his performance.
Hadjar, meanwhile, delivered one of his strongest displays of the season, crossing the line fourth and briefly moving onto the podium once Gasly's penalties were applied. It marked what would have been his first top-three finish with Red Bull Racing.
After the race, Alpine submitted a Right of Review, supported by evidence of a distance measurement error from FOM. The penalties were overturned, restoring Gasly to third and placing Hadjar fourth in the final classification.
The outcome, P3 for Gasly and P4 for Hadjar, reflects two drivers operating at a high level. Gasly's recovery through the field and Hadjar's continued progress at the front both point to the same conclusion: two drives worth remembering, regardless of where the numbers eventually settled.
