Our French rookie continues to prove he's one of the standout newcomers in the FIA F3 field this year. The highlight of his weekend? A superb P2 finish in the Sprint Race, claiming his second podium of the season – and doing so on used tyres, while most of the competitors around him had new tyres.
Before that, a frustrating qualifying saw him taking P11, just 0.1s off P4. That shows just how tight the field is at this level. In Sunday’s Feature Race, Alessandro showed strong pace again and began a great charge through the pack before getting caught out in a mid-pack fight.
He still leaves Austria with another well-earned trophy and continues to impress in his rookie campaign! Silverstone next!
