On a Spa-Francorchamps track where he claimed a Sprint podium two years ago, Pierre Gasly maximized the potential of his car by bringing home a valuable point with a 10th-place finish in Belgium. Starting P13, he once again demonstrated his trademark tyre management and race reading, making the right strategic calls with the Alpine team — notably being one of the first to switch to slicks after a dry start — and running an aggressive low-downforce setup that allowed him to attack and defend effectively on the straights. Earlier in the weekend, Pierre had also delivered a strong Sprint Qualifying performance, securing a spot in SQ3, before being forced to retire due to a water leak before the Sprint even began. Following his 6th place in Silverstone, this marks Pierre’s second consecutive weekend in the points.
