A bittersweet first week-end for Pierre Gasly  finishing P11 in Melbourne during what was a wet season opener. Overall package has been performing well both on dry and wet conditions, which is very positive for the rest of the season, with already a first Q3 reached. During the race, while driving well on tough conditions, Pierre has been unfortunate at the end of the race, not helped also by brake issues. Good news is there is already another opportunity to shine this week-end in China.

For Kush Maini in F2, the week-end started with a bad news : a penalty given to his team, which was of course quite unfair to the drivers, who had a 10 grid spot penalty for both race of the week-end. Kush started the weekend by a great performance in Free Practice with P2. Then with the penalty, it was hard to score points in the Sprint Race. Fortunately,no one scored points during the Feature Race, meaning no drivers left Australia with a big amount of points. Let’s have a fresh start in Bahrain !

Last week-end was also Alessandro Giusti first weekend in Formula 3. Pure Performance of both him and his team was great, which is a very good news for the French rookie. Resultswise, Sandro has been unlucky with a DRS issue in qualy that costed him the top spots. While he was gaining positions, he then suffered a collision from a competitor which put an end to his chances of scoring points. The raw speed was there and Sandro took a lot of confidence from Melbourne.
