The Years of Culture initiative continues its creative journey with BWT Alpine F1 Team driver Pierre Gasly, unveiling a new racing helmet designed by Brazilian illustrator and street artist Fernando Chamarelli. After debuting a first helmet in the Netherlands, this second chapter once again brings a bold fusion of art and motorsport to the global stage.
Chamarelli, known for his geometric, symbolic visual language, draws on shared themes of nature, heritage and friendship between Qatar and Brazil. His design centres around the falcon, a powerful emblem of Qatari culture, interwoven with the vibrant colours of Brazil. Desert dunes meet rainforest greens, while indigenous patterns and the sun motif evoke life, energy and continuity. The result is a vivid composition embodying dialogue and cultural harmony.
Through this partnership with Pierre Gasly, Years of Culture transforms one of F1’s most iconic accessories into a global canvas — inviting fans to discover the stories and perspectives of artists from diverse backgrounds.
Pierre Gasly said: “Racing is a global stage that brings people and cultures together. Partnering with Years of Culture allows me to share the creativity and stories of artists from around the world. Each helmet I wear carries a piece of that dialogue.”
